Open Mic Night

"Up North for Winter"

Come join us, bring your music to sign up to sing or just come and listen, on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. for this fun event hosted by Stephanie Riggs with Mark Mullino on Piano. 

 

Tickets are by donation/pay-what-you-can. All proceeds from this event will go towards our 2024 programming.

Our Spring 2024 Youth & Family Musical DEAR EDWINA!! 

Save the dates for this special event which melds our professional adult artists with our next generation young professionals, April 4-6, 2024 at the Lewisville Grand, Thursday &  Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 2:30 & 7:30 p.m.

Edwina Spoonapple is on a quest to be a part of the Kalamazoo Advice-a-Palooza Festival. With her siblings boasting proof of accomplishments, Edwina, armed with her musical advice show, takes center stage in the family garage. Assisted by her quirky siblings, friends, and neighbors, they tackle the world's problems in a series of hysterical numbers, covering everything from birthday party etiquette to proper table settings.

Young Artist Training Program

A huge component of the future of the performing arts is education of young actors, technicians, producers, choreographers and directors. Our educational program is truly one of a kind, a purposefully small program offering direct professional mentorships for our students and a robust tuition assistance program that ensures qualified students can attend. After all, they are the future of the performing arts.

​

Our renowned musical theatre conservatory, The Young Artist Training Program (YATP), is an audition based student group of talented artists seriously studying the performing arts. The program runs for the entire school year from August to May with selected students being mentored by experienced & talented professionals. We do not offer rolling enrollment. The next opportunity to audition for the 2024-2025 year conservatory and college prep program will be in the 2024 Summer Camp. 32nd Annual - 2024 YATP Summer Musical Theatre Intensive/Camp (Open enrollment event!)

May 28-June 1, 2024 

Held at the Lewisville Grand. Summer Intensive is our only open enrollment educational event of the year. We will hold 2024 technique based camps, offering both serious training & serious fun for rising 4th - 10th grade students who dream of a career in the arts and are looking to better their performance skills in the areas of singing, dancing and acting.

 

Students in the camp come from all across D-FW to get the opportunity to audition for a spot in our year round conservatory and college preparatory program. Click ' 'Young Artist Training Program' for more details.

 

This program fills annually with limited spaces available to maintain low faculty:student ratios, so grab your spot early!
